The Asia society for social improvement & sustainable transformation (ASSIST Mekong) is looking for 4 Business Development Executives to join its team in charge of implementing the Vision Ambassador business-model of ophthalmic optics company ESSILOR. In 2013, the group launched an inclusive business initiative across several countries to provide vision care to underserved populations who do not have access to conventional distribution channels. In this vein, the company will launch this year in Cambodia the Vision Ambassador project that aims at bringing vision screening and affordable spectacle dispensing facilities near the doorstep of people in rural and semi-urban areas. This new model will be deployed by Essilor Cambodia and ASSIST Asia. Position purposeThe Business Development Executives (BDEs) will each be based in 4 different locations amongst the following provinces: Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Kandal, Takeo, Kampot, Svay Rieng, Preah Sihanouk. They will regularly go to Phnom Penh where the Project Management is based and will travel on the field within their province and neighboring provinces. They will be responsible for establishing new point of sales in their respective provinces, achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Essilor products within these points of sales. Their role is also to ensure that knowledge and information are provided to the point of sales so they can promote the products and maximize their sales to people in need. The BDEs will report directly to the Project Managers based in Phnom Penh.Key Responsibilities - Establish and train a network of point of sales in targeted provinces/areas - Achieve assigned sales goals and grow sales volume - Utilize sales strategy to qualify opportunities and drive sales results - Communicate effectively with Sales and Project Management on the status and progress of assigned sales objectives, and communicate any concerns in a timely manner- Ensure effective and continuous communication with point of sales - Monitor and communicate products growth to project team and point of sales - Must be adept at handling difficult conversation with points of sales and overcoming objections and barriers to growth - Document in timely and detailed manner all interactions with points of sales, commitments and meaningful communication to project coordinator- Complete all requested reports and other administrative duties in a timely manner- Present a professional image and represent the project and company in line with stated core values
